Ri-in Mokpo is one of the best accomodations in Mokpo as it was selected and certified by the Korea Tourism Organization, for which it had to meet several strict standards.

The host couple are natives of Mokpo. The husband is not only a cultural anthropologist, but has also worked in the region as the Secretary General of the Environment Federation and the Sinan Cultural Center, and the wife is a youth instructor and nutritionist.
They can therefore provide detailed information about the city of Mokpo, including its regional characteristics and culture.

They said that Ri-in was named after the Ri-in chapter of the Analects of Confucius. It represents their motivation to create a friendly and happy village.
The friendly hospitality is not excessive and is more similar to being treated by friends or family, which is one of the charms of this place. Nevertheless, the breakfast is really getting good reviews from guests as it is literally a hearty home-cooked meal.

5 minute walk from Mokpo Station. The guesthouse is located at the beginning of the road to Yudalsan, so it is convenient to travel to the original city center as well as anywhere in Mokpo.
The communal living/dining room on the first floor is spacious enough to hold seminars and workshops for 12 people, which makes it perfect for drinking tea or relaxing while looking at the changing faces of the seasons through the window.

Room 1 is for 4 people and Room 2 and 3 have double beds. There are 3 guest rooms, and each room has a private toilet/bathroom and an attic space.
